Stockades were founded by Tai Shing Group and other shareholders. Tai Shing has a wide business scope including: securities, investment, insurance, financing, and property and capital management. With substantial experience and a strong market network, the group enjoys a strong reputation. Their business diversification strategy has earned them many credits in their various business areas.

Tai Shing understands a rich life is not limited to wealth, helping the needy and promoting harmony in the society is also important. In 2008, the Sizhuan earthquake affected many people, who lost their homes and families. Tai Shing immediately made donations and encouraged staff and families to provide assistance by joining Oxfam's rice charity sale, and organizing event to support Playright and World Vision, for providing psychological therapy to the affected children.
